I recently posted an entry on USMT Migration using LiteTouch, which would help you quickly enable a fairly comprehensive migration in as little as a few minutes. I’m often asked what data and settings USMT actually migrates when used in it’s default configuration, well here is the answer.
USMT 4.0 features fairly flexible customisation using XML files. By default, 2 files are used to control the migration, MigApp.xml and MigUser.xml. These files contain instructions for migrating a variety of data and settings, including;
