Set up your camera, speaker and microphone for Microsoft Teams Voice.

Microsoft Teams Voice works with most camera, speaker and microphone combos. However, if you're using anything other than your device's built-in features, there's a good chance you'll need to configure Microsoft Teams for your desired inputs and outputs.

How to configure your camera, speaker and microphone for Microsoft Teams.

In this blog we'll show you how to configure your camera, speaker and microphone to your desired device so you have a seamless experience, every time you make a call.

 

 

You can also configure your camera, speaker and microphone using the following steps:
  1. Open Microsoft Teams.
  2. Click your account picture (HINT: Your account picture will either appear as the picture you uploaded to Microsoft Teams or your initials in a circle if you haven't added a picture.)
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Devices
  5. Click Audio devices drop down menu.
  6. Select your preferred speaker and microphone combo. (HINT: We recommend using a good quality headset.)
  7. Click the Camera drop down menu.
  8. Select your preferred camera.
  9. Your preferences are automatically saved.
  10. Test your new devices by pressing the Make a test call button and following the prompts.
